'Abysmal', 'So unfair', 'Sinking' – These West Brom fans react as major news emerges
This isn’t where we wanted West Brom to be after seven Premier League games – in the bottom three and with an axe hanging over the head of Slaven Bilic.
According to The Telegraph’s John Percy, the West Brom owners are thinking about a “huge decision” over Bilic if the Baggies suffer a heavy defeat against Tottenham.
The problem is, the next game after the international break is Man United at Old Trafford, so even if West Brom get a result – or don’t get beaten too badly – against Spurs, Bilic will have more pressure on him against another of the league’s top teams.
Some West Brom fans think that’s not a fair roll of the dice for Bilic, with some thinking the team will be manager-less even before the Old Trafford trip.
The Baggies fans are split. Everyone’s in agreement that recent results (and we’re going back into the Championship here) haven’t been good enough.
And this was always likely to be a big issue after losing to Fulham on Monday in such a pitiful manner.
However, is sacking Bilic the answer? Some fans aren’t so sure about that and one urged “patience”.
Here are the best reactions from worried West Brom fans…
I see your point but if you have a 'Championship side' then the way you get the to stay up is to be 1st to every ball and fight, we show none of that. I think 'Championship side at best' is harsh as we genuinely have some good players. Ajayi and Ivanovic have looked solid at

The comments so far from fans of other clubs are hilarious. Seen the odd game and think they understand the situation. Ignore the fact we have rarely turned up since early December 2019

Generally don’t know how to feel about what’s going on right now and how we’re being run at this current time. The only feeling I’ve got right now is we’re on the road to nowhere #WBA https://t.co/aLJ7kYXZSh

I wish I could say I’m surprised but honestly the performances have been abysmal. Like, so poor

If happens , would be interesting to see who they appoint. Would think they would go for a more defensive minded manager. Good choice to help you stay up, but might not be the best manager to get you out the championship if still go down #wba

Bilic definitely talks the talk, and he’s a nice bloke which makes him popular, but you can’t ignore the fact that we have been pretty poor since December barring the odd result. Think he’s sinking tbh.

Not all Baggies fans feel the same though and there are plenty who think that the problem doesn’t rely with Bilic but with money…
Slaven Bilic is a breath of fresh air . We enjoyed last season and those Players who enlightened us came because of him . EPL is a challenge when a lot of clubs invested on promotion the last two seasons 120 M we have spent 27 M . Realistic expectations required . Patience

Shouldn’t sack him! We need funds to buy players Coyb

Boss who got us up 1 season into a 2 yr plan. Despite more money in than out in transfers and had to build a new side. He now as the lowest budget in the premier league. Yes there are questions and our poor form goes back to last season , but this !! No #wba https://t.co/DMkkPcG6fj

Can we stop using the excuses about us having a poor squad for the prem? We’ve struggled since last December, we had promotion handed to us on a plate by other teams and our only win in the last 13 games was against Harrogate.. clearly no plan B.. is his time up? #wba https://t.co/ZmDuL4aQi7
