‘Surely not?’ – Some West Brom fans are saying the same thing after PL announcement
Some West Brom fans are baffled as the wait for a 3pm Saturday kick-off goes on after the Premier League announced some changes to the Baggies’ upcoming games.
The kick-off time of both of Albion’s upcoming fixtures has been pushed back meaning their games against Manchester United and Sheffield United will both start at 8pm.
Albion face the Red Devils after the international break at Old Trafford and the clash will be shown live on BT Sport.
The Baggies’ home tie against the Blades the following weekend will be live on Sky Sports for no extra charge as the Premier League has ditched its controversial pay-per-view model.
Albion fans will be especially happy about the scrapping of PPV after four consecutive Baggies games were selected for the service meaning fans would have had to shell out an extra £60 to watch their side.
But plenty of question marks have been raised over the decision to not give Albion a 3pm kick-off on a Saturday. The Baggies are yet to kick off at the usual slot on a weekend and some fans are left wondering what it feels like to watch their team on a Saturday afternoon.
