Paul Parker has backed Manchester United to “sneak” past West Brom in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The former Red Devils defender has predicted that the Baggies will fall to a 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford, leaving them still without a victory this season.
Slaven Bilic is welcoming back numerous options, whereas Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be without a number of key players.
Parker claimed that both sides have big problems – United are yet to win at home, but the Baggies need to improve dramatically in the final third.
“It isn’t going well for West Brom, they haven’t been scoring enough goals but Manchester United have not won at home in the Premier League yet,” he told EuroSport.
“United have been in this position too many times. United have to come out and try and win the game, not play two holding midfield players. They have to be attack-minded, expecting to win. It’s all about team selection but I think United will sneak the game.”
Man United could have up to eight different players ruled out through injuries, and that could be a huge boost for the Baggies.
The likes of Marcus Rashford and Victor Lindelof, who have nearly started every single game could more than likely be missing.
West Brom, on the other hand, have the welcome return of Branislav Ivanovic and Matheus Pereira, whereas Callum Robinson has been cleared to play.
It could all depend on if the Albion have others ruled out due to COVID-19 outbreak, but they could certainly spring a surprise at a weakened Old Trafford.
