Alex Telles is in line to play for Manchester United when they take on West Brom at Old Trafford on Saturday night, according to The Express

Telles signed for United from Portuguese side Porto this summer but he is yet to feature in the Premier League for the Red Devils.

This looks set to change this weekend with The Express reporting that the Brazilian has returned to training ahead of Saturday’s clash with Albion.

Globoesport reported earlier this week that Telles had tested positive for coronavirus for the second time and doubts were raised over whether he would be available to face the Baggies.

But he has seemingly recovered and is now training ahead of this weekend’s game which will come as a huge boost to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester United appeared to be down to bare bones on the left side of their defence with Luke Shaw set to miss the next few weeks after picking up an injury in United’s last game.

However, it looks as though Telles will be fit to play a role and he could cause a lot of problems for the Baggies defence as well as Albion’s attack.

In his one previous Red Devils outing against PSG in the Champions League, Telles’ crossing was impressive.

According to Wyscout, Telles had a 67% cross completion rate against the French champions. For context, Grady Diangana has an average cross completion rate of 10.5% this season – although that perhaps says more about how he’s underperformed at Albion this season.

The tough task of facing Solskjaer’s side at Old Trafford just got harder for Albion as they look to secure a first three-point haul of the season.

The Baggies did win on their last trip to Old Trafford and fans will be looking for inspiration from 2018’s unlikely win as they gear up to watch their side on Saturday night.

In other West Brom news, Slaven Bilic has backed calls to ban heading in training.
