‘Pound shop Rondon’ – Many West Brom fans slam ‘Anonymous’ ace v Sheffield Utd

West Brom can finally breathe a huge sigh of relief in the Premier League after earning their first win over Sheffield United.

Conor Gallagher got the winner at the Hawthorns, with his long-range strike finding the bottom corner after the ball was cleared.

The Blades missed plenty of chances in the second half, as their strikers failed to get on the end of many clear-cut opportunities.

One striker that didn’t get much of a sniff, was Karlan Grant.

The marquee summer signing has seemed to get quieter as each week has gone on, and has only found the back of the net once.

His goal at Brighton was a sign of how clinical he can, but it is clear to us that he is desperate to get another, no matter how it goes in.

Callum Robinson was replaced in the second half and wasn’t happy – with many Baggies fans claiming that it should have been Grant to go off.

Grant had two shots on goal but didn’t manage a single key pass according to WhoScored, as his links to midfield runners failed to materialise.

Many West Brom fans have reacted to his performance, and the majority weren’t happy with how he stayed on the pitch against the Blades.

The majority did appreciate his efforts though, and claimed that his next goal will arrive sooner rather than later – fingers crossed.
