View: 38% of duels won – Bilic has £15m West Brom problem that must be solved in a hurry
Karlan Grant endured yet another tough afternoon for West Brom, as the Baggies fell to a 5-1 home defeat to the hands of Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The former Huddersfield striker has scored just once for the club since his big-money move in the summer.
After a bright start to life at The Hawthorns, Grant has struggled for any kind of form at West Brom and his troubles were once again clear to see against Roy Hodgson’s side.

As per Wyscout, Grant managed just two shots during the 62 minutes he was on the pitch against Palace – only one was on target.
While Grant did not have his shooting boots on, he failed to offer West Brom any kind of focal point in the final third either, losing possession of the ball six times.
According to WyScout, he won just 38% of his duels and none of his aerial duels before he was replaced by Callum Robinson.
Grant’s worrying form creates a huge headache for Slaven Bilic, who also has Callum Robinson, Hal Robson-Kanu and Charlie Austin to call upon from the bench.
Matheus Pereira’s red card could afford Bilic the opportunity to stick with Grant and play one of Robinson or Robson-Kanu alongside him consistently.
Recording just one progressive run against Palace, all signs point towards a huge lack of support for Grant. It’s a £15m problem that Bilic needs to solve quickly as he bids to turn the club’s fortunes around in the Premier League this season.
