'Too slow for the PL', Bomb him out the club - These West Brom fans slaughter player in 3-0 loss

After his first-half dismissal in Sunday’s defeat to Aston Villa, West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to condemn club captain Jake Livermore.

The West Brom midfielder received an early red card for a studs-up challenge on England star Jack Grealish, leaving new manager Sam Allardyce a lot to think about as ill-discipline continues to disrupt his lowly side.

With three red cards in 14 Premier League games this season, only Arsenal and Brighton have received as many sending-offs as the Baggies.

Livermore was the latest recipient, and the 31-year-old has angered fans who expect more responsibility from a senior member of the squad.

According to some fans, Livermore’s place in the starting line-up should be under threat, after he returns from his impending suspension.

One fan said he wasn’t a fan of Big Sam but “if he bombs Livermore out the club that will be a very good start.”

After missing only one league game in the Championship last season, Livermore will now miss his side’s next three games, against Liverpool, Leeds and Arsenal.

Leeds and Arsenal are really important games that Big Sam will be targeting for points.

He will not be able to return until January 9, when they travel to Blackpool in the third round of the FA Cup.

Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher is likely to operate in a deeper midfield role in his absence.

Here are some of the strong verdicts on Livermore from West Brom fans on Twitter:
