Two changes, Karlan Grant dropped – Confirmed West Brom team news v Arsenal
West Brom have made two changes to their side for the Premier League clash against Arsenal on Saturday evening.
Sam Allardyce has decided to bring in Matheus Pereira and Branislav Ivanovic into his side to take on Mikel Arteta’s men.
Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, the Albion have dropped Lee Peltier and Karlan Grant, after the striker blanked once again last time out.
Changes had to be made after that 5-0 defeat against Leeds on Tuesday, where the Baggies simply weren’t good enough.
Kevin Phillips exclusively told West Brom News this week that it would be no surprise to see three changes, and he was almost correct.
Pereira has yet to start a game under Allardyce since his suspension and the departure of Slaven Bilic, but now he will get his chance.
The Brazilian has been the main creative spark for the past year and more at the Hawthorns, and if there was ever a time to show that, it would be tonight.
West Brom will be desperate for three points against the Gunners and continue their cracking recent form against the Londoners at the Hawthorns.
With Burnley and Fulham seeing their game postponed tomorrow, it would be a great time to close the gap to those above them as they wait to complete that fixture.
