West Brom fans are disgruntled with the behaviour of Matheus Periera and calls have been made for the midfielder to leave the club.
The Athletic report that the 24-year-old has ‘gone quiet’ due to his frustration over a lack of contract talks, despite only signing permanently in the summer for £9million.
Pereira is believed to be unhappy because the board refused to increase his wages, and that doesn’t sit well with Baggies fans.
They have come to have expect a lot of Pereira, who scored eight and assisted 16 goals in the Championship last term.
This time around he has just five goal contributions in 14 games, and his negative outlook could be contributing to his downturn in performances.
A lot of supporters are angered by that fact, with criticism aimed at the way he is playing.
Others have called for the Brazilian to leave the club if he is not happy, quickly forgetting how important he was to success in the previous campaign.
One fan points out the need for a striker and selling Pereira could certainly raise funds for that, with the general belief that there is little good in keeping a dissatisfied player at the club.
Here is some of the discussion taking place in reaction to the development.
He's missing the relationship between him Diangana and Krov they shared last season. I don't believe it's only about money. He's clearly unhappy and has lost his mojo

Never thought I would say this but would prefer to lose him this month than Johnstone, if we need to raise some cash it’s them two that are of any significant value
