Some West Brom fans don’t accept Grady Diangana injury update

Grady Diangana is back in training for West Brom but will not be fit to play against Manchester United, according to Sam Allardyce via Joseph Masi.

The journalist provided the update on Friday but many West Brom fans have rejected the news.

They hold their own ideas about the winger, with suggestions being made in recent days that he has thrown a strop.

Those rumours seem to have been fuelled by his delayed return to action.

Diangana first picked up a hamstring injury against Arsenal at the beginning of January.

He then recovered and was in line to start against Wolves but a recurrence of the same issue ruled him out, and he has been unavailable since.

Given how the team have performed without Diangana, it is not surprising that fans are so disappointed with his absence.

We have lacked a natural left-winger as Kamil Grosicki proved he was not good enough for the top-flight in his recent appearances.

And Karlan Grant and Callum Robinson have also looked out of place on the wing recently.

Some fans cannot shake the idea that the 22-year-old does not want to be at The Hawthorns – even though there is little solid evidence behind the accusation.

Here is what has been said in reaction to Masi’s injury update.
