West Brom winger Kamil Grosicki has become the forgotten figure at The Hawthorns this season.

The Polish international was handed hope by Sam Allardyce when he first arrived, but that quickly disappeared after a handful of appearances.

Grosicki has never nailed down a starting spot since arriving from Hull City, and that even applied in the Championship under Slaven Bilic.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Grosicki was pictured alongside Grady Diangana in the training ground gym.

“Work,” he simply wrote.

Not working.

Grosicki may be in the gym getting his hard work in, but there is only one person who will benefit from that, and that is himself.

Big Sam has made it clear that the Polish international is no longer in our plans, and he will not be completing any minutes between now and the end of the season.

Interestingly, the signs aren’t looking good for Diangana either, who hasn’t been featuring as much as we would have hoped for our big-money summer signing.

Grosicki has been consistently linked with a move back to Poland, and that is becoming more likely with every matchday that passes.

His gym work may come across as a good sign that he is pushing to return to the first-team at The Hawthorns, but it will be quite the opposite.

With the European Championships coming up this summer, Grosicki will be desperate to have a seat on the plane, and staying fit will be critical to his hopes.
