West Brom Super Fans want club to re-sign Krovinovic this summer

This is part of a regular series from our panel of West Brom Super Fans. Each week, our Super Fans will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around the Hawthorns. You can join in the discussion on our West Brom News Facebook page.

Filip Krovinovic was recently spotted in West Brom shorts and since then the fans have shown a great deal of excitement in bringing the midfielder back to the Hawthorns.

The Croatian was recalled from his loan at Albion in January and he was then loaned to Nottingham Forest for the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign.

The 25-year-old could still make a return if the new manager wants him, and the fact that he’s training in West Brom shorts suggests he wouldn’t be completely against a Hawthorns reunion.

While there aren’t any credible reports linking him with a return to the club as yet, some of our Super Fans are already on board with welcoming him back to the Hawthorns.

Here’s what they said:

Krovinovic is undoubtedly a ‘class act’ as one fan pointed out and we would love to have him back at the club.

It, undoubtedly, is a ‘no brainer’ as some of our midfielders will head back to join their parent club, while some may not be in the club’s plans after dismal seasons.

That leaves plenty of spots open and we should go for players like Krovinovic who actually want to be at the club.

He’s starred in the Championship this past season and there’s no reason why he can’t do the same next season.

Once the new manager is announced, we’re hoping someone inside the club informs him of Krovinovic’s ability.
