Frank Lampard & Eddie Howe don't want West Brom job - Joseph Masi
Eddie Howe and Frank Lampard both aren’t interested in the vacant West Brom job, according to Joseph Masi.
The Express and Star journalist shared the update after Luke Dowling left The Hawthorns, leaving the search up in the air.
Lampard and Howe are both out of work, but it appears as though they are waiting for bigger jobs, potentially still in the Premier League.
Speaking on the Baggies Broadcast Podcast on Wednesday, Masi shared yet another negative update from the Hawthorns.
“From what I understand, Frank Lampard doesn’t want it,” he said.
“Whether that will change, I don’t know, the longer the summer goes on, the more Premier League jobs get taken, if he doesn’t get one of them. He doesn’t want it.
“From what I understand, Eddie Howe doesn’t want it.”
Could things get any worst at The Hawthorns right now?
Dowling has left, nearly every single manager we have been left with has turned down that opportunity, and nothing appears close on the transfer front.
Things look set to only get worst too, with Sam Johnstone and Matheus Pereira expected to leave, and no one in charge to have a shortlist of replacements ready.
It will be incredibly interesting to see who eventually gets this job, but from the outside looking in, who would be stupid enough to work under this board?
Guochuan Lai continues to make a mockery of the club and every single one of us fans, and our confidence for next season is slowly draining with each passing day.
