The Frenchman has been selected as the one tasked with earning promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Alex Mowatt has arrived as his first signing for the Baggies, and training is already underway this week.
Pictures were shared on social media, with a number of exciting faces spotted at the training ground.
The Baggies Report shared one of those images on their Twitter account, and Rico Richards was one of those spotted.
This is certainly the future and with a number of experienced faces leaving, players such as Richards could definitely benefit.
It has been far too long since we were using our academy efficiently, and had players streaming into the senior squad every single week.

The young playmaker signed his first professional contract at the club back in 2020, and this could finally be his breakthrough year.
The Guardian described his performances as “elite” which had attracted the interest of some of Europe’s biggest clubs over the past couple of years.
Having made the bench for the FA Cup clash with Charlton two years ago, there has been a huge buzz around his progression.
Richards wasn’t given the chance in the Premier League though, and he could be a big benefactor of the relegation to the Championship.
No doubt, he won’t start, but he will certainly be given the chance to shine off the bench throughout the campaign – it is time for him to take that.
