Slavisa Jokanovic hints Kean Bryan is not keen on new Sheffield deal amid West Brom link

West Brom want Kean Bryan after his Sheffield United deal expired, but the Blades have offered him a new deal.

The Sun reported last month that Baggies new boss Ismael Valerien wants to bring the versatile English defender to the Hawthorns.

Sheffield Utd manager Slavisa Jokanovic has revealed that there is an offer on the table for the 24-year-old, but he has refused to sign it and is not currently in his plans.

“There doesn’t exist any change,” the new Blades boss told Yorkshire Live.

“The club inform me they’ve offered him the contract and at the moment I don’t have any information that we’ve received some answer. He’s outside of the contract and in this moment I am really not thinking about him.

“It’s really clear at the moment. I am not thinking about him and I don’t have information he is part of my staff, in the future or not we will see.”

Huge boost for West Brom?

Bryan does not look willing to remain at Bramall Lane from the look of things, and we believe Ismael’s reported interest in him could have played a major role.

Sheffield Utd clearly want to retain his services, but it appears they have moved too little, too late.

The Manchester City academy graduate wants to be playing Premier League football as soon as possible after breaking into Chris Wilder’s first-team during the second half of last term, and we are offering him that chance.

West Brom are in need of quality players to strengthen the squad in order to boost their chances of earning immediate promotion, and Bryan has proven what he is capable of doing.

While he mainly plays as a centre-back, he can also feature in midfield in a box-to-box role, and we could do with that versatility at the Albion.

The free agent has an impressive vision, is comfortable on the ball and brilliant at set-pieces, and West Brom could do with all that when the campaign resumes.

In other West Brom news, the Baggies want to sign PL player who’s impressed Wayne Rooney.
