Al Hilal table first offer for West Brom star Matheus Pereira
Al Hilal have opened talks to sign West Brom playmaker Matheus Pereira this summer, according to Ekrem Konur.
The Turkish journalist, who is verified on Twitter, has shared that Leonardo Jardim has requested the signing of the Brazilian.
It is suggested that the Saudi club have offered an embarrassing opening fee of only £6million as negotiations start.

Valerien Ismael will have been evaluating his squad and their values, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to suggest that this bid may well be laughed at.
Writing on his personal Twitter account on Monday afternoon, Konur shared the major update for Baggies fans.
“At Jardim’s request, Al Hilal began talks with the West Brom team for Matheus Pereira,” he wrote.
“The Al-Hilal team’s initial offer is €7 million [£6million].
Embarrassing.
You have got to be kidding us.
Al Hilal may be trying to play it cheeky after our relegation to the Premier League, but they have some nerve reportedly posting this offer.
The Baggies will be demanding triple that amount to let go of their star man from The Hawthorns, or maybe even just to open negotiations.
Periera has been the main man ever since he arrived at the club from Sporting Lisbon, and there would surely be outrage if anything near that fee is accepted – especially given we paid more for him last year.
Bidding needs to start at £20million at least, and that is just to be in with a chance of securing the Brazilian, so Al Hilal and Jardim will need to come again.
We don’t expect this to pick up any pace soon, especially given how low this offer was – try again.
