Okay Yokuslu’s representative in talks with two clubs amid West Brom speculation
The agent of Celta Vigo midfielder Okay Yokuslu has entered into talks with two clubs amid recent speculation with West Brom, according to AS.
The Spanish news outlet reported earlier on Tuesday [27/07/21] that the 27-year-old Turkish international was keen on a move to The Hawthorns and could be available for £4.2million.
AS offered an update later that night, claiming that he is “very clear” that he wants to play in the Premier League this season, with Watford in pursuit, and not the Championship.

They also claim that his agent, Batur Altiparmaki, is negotiating with another Premier League club and an Italian club.
It is also reported that Celta hopes to recoup at least half of what they paid for Yokuslu in 2018, £5.1million, which means the Euro 2020 player could be bought for around £2.5-2.6million, less than the £4.2million they ideally want to collect.

Fading away?
AS must have some Wolves fans among their journalists given the carrot being dangled in front of West Brom supporters which looks to have been snatched away already.
Their morning report suggested that Yokuslu was open to a Hawthorns return this summer after an impressive loan spell last season, but the most recent update seems to put cast major doubts over that earlier development, with the Premier League his main goal.
There appears to be further complications in that his agent is in talks with a Premier League and Serie A club.
From the way it is written they seem to suggest that the Premier League club is not Watford, who they previously linked, so it will be interesting to see who that could be.
Baggies were beginning to place some faith in the idea that Yokuslu could be back in the West Midlands, but there is fresh doubt over this now.
But if he really can be bought for around £2.5million, there is no excuse for Albion not at least tabling a bid to Celta.
In other West Brom news, the Albion have lost this talent to Aston Villa as player changes his Instagram bio.
