Despite a 3-2 win over Luton Town at The Hawthorns on Saturday, many West Brom fans have voiced their displeasure at Kenneth Zohore’s cameo appearance.

The 27-year-old started the match on the bench but came on for Karlan Grant in the 71st minute to make his second successive outing of the 2021/22 campaign.

However, the Danish striker was roundly criticised by Albion supporters after a lacklustre performance in front of a rousing crowd.

We asked our panel of West Brom Super Fans what they thought of Zohore on Saturday, and whether the club should look to sell him now.

Here’s what they had to say…

Disastrous display

New West Brom boss Valerien Ismael has been positive about the centre-forward recently, and Zohore has also spoken about his desire to re-ignite his flailing Albion career [Shropshire Star] after spending last season out on loan at Millwall.

However, despite an encouraging pre-season performance against Birmingham City and a substitute outing against Bournemouth last week, the six-foot three-inch forward was found out against Luton on Saturday.

While he showed a terrific turn of pace against Birmingham, against Luton he was slow and did not look up to Championship standard.

His goal record in recent years is pretty atrocious – he’s scored just six league goals over the last three seasons – so if he is not even making himself a nuisance to opposition defences, then what use is he?

Albion do not have many strikers at the club, so he may be kept out of necessity, but he will have to buck his ideas up if he has any designs on accruing more minutes under Ismael.

In other West Brom news, an English club have made an approach to sign this Albion player.
