Journalist shares Sheffield United fans chant towards Callum Robinson in 4-0 West Brom win
Callum Robinson was subjected to derogatory chants by Sheffield United fans before West Brom ran out 4-0 winners at The Hawthorns on Wednesday night.
Robinson, 26, spent six months at the Blades after joining in July 2019 before signing for West Brom on an initial loan deal that became permanent in September 2020.
As part of that deal, Oli Burke swapped the West Midlands for South Yorkshire after a torrid spell with the Baggies.

The 24-year-old has continued to struggle at Bramall Lane while Republic of Ireland international Robinson thrives at Albion, and he scored for a third successive league game on Wednesday as they dismantled Slavisa Jokanovic’s side in B12.
Before the goal rush, Express and Star journalist Luke Hatfield shared a chant that was ringing around the away end on his personal Twitter profile.
He wrote: “Sheffield United fans chanting ‘He’s just a [expletive] Oli Burke’ in regards to Callum Robinson. Not sure too many Albion fans would agree with that claim.”
Baggies bargain
Whether Sheffield United fans had their tongues firmly in their cheek while singing is unsure – one would hope so given the travails of Burke at Bramall Lane since last year’s swap deal.
West Brom were certainly the beneficiaries of the deal as Robinson scored five Premier League goals last term, including four against Champions League winners Chelsea.
He has also started this season on fire, scoring in each of his first three appearances.
Burke, meanwhile, has scored just twice in 33 appearances since the beginning of the 2020/21 campaign, and he struggled once again on Wednesday after coming off the bench.
It was a continuation of what we saw during his spell with the Baggies – all pace and no end product.
Swapping Robinson for Burke has to be one of the best deals we’ve done in recent years.
In other West Brom news, an ex-Wolves midfielder has compared this Albion player to Ryan Giggs.
