West Brom Super Fans react as club reportedly look to offload Kenneth Zohore

This is part of a regular series from our panel of West Brom Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our West Brom News Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around The Hawthorns.

A report that claims West Brom are looking to offload Kenneth Zohore before the transfer window shuts has gone down well with Albion supporters.

The Express and Star [29/08/21] claim the West Midlands club want the 27-year-old Dane out of The Hawthorns this summer as they consider a move for Watford captain Troy Deeney.

Zohore has made three appearances for Albion this season but he has been omitted from their squad for the last three Championship matches, while he lasted only 64 minutes during a rare start in the League Cup against Arsenal last week.

We asked our esteemed panel of West Brom Super Fans what they thought of this news.

Here’s what they had to say…

Valerien Ismael looked to have handed Zohore an Albion reprieve after he arrived from Barnsley earlier this summer, giving him opportunities in pre-season and speaking warmly of him.

A clip of Zohore racing past Birmingham City defenders even gained popularity among fans online with some suggesting he could be a new player under the Frenchman.

However, in the limited minutes he has been given since the season got underway, he has been underwhelming in the extreme.

His lack of mobility and willingness to work for the team has seen him draw the ire of Albion fans, and he appears to be out of Ismael’s plans now after being axed from the last three Championship squads.

Whether any club will take him off their hands, however, remains to be seen with two days left of the transfer window.
