Kean Bryan won't feature for West Brom v Millwall
New West Brom signing Kean Bryan will not feature in the Championship clash against Millwall on Saturday afternoon.
The defender arrived this week after Dara O’Shea joined Matt Clarke on the injury list with a long-term ankle problem during the break.
Valerien Ismael has shared the latest on Bryan now that he has started his work with the team at The Hawthorns.
Speaking via the Birmingham Mail, Ismael shared the latest on his new signing ahead of the Millwall clash.
“We’ll see now day by day, but we have a build-up, a plan for Kean,” he said.
“Our sports science guys have made a great job so far. For sure it’ll be too soon on Friday, it’s clear, but we will see if it’s a case for Tuesday or for next Saturday.”
Tuesday it is?
So, it looks as though we are going to have to wait until Tuesday and the Derby clash to potentially see our new signing in action.
This is now a huge chance for Cedric Kipre.
Kipre has had very limited chances since arriving from Wigan at the start of last season and eventually left on loan to Belgium.
After struggling in the season opener at Bournemouth, he got his only other start against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup and that didn’t go to plan.
Now with Clarke and O’Shea missing, it is the opportunity he has been crying out for and he must take it.
If Kipre shines alongside Semi Ajayi and Kyle Bartley, could Bryan be forced to wait even longer for his debut? Only time will tell this weekend.
