David Prutton predicts West Brom clash v Queens Park Rangers
David Prutton has backed West Brom to pick up yet another draw in the Championship against Queens Park Rangers.
The Baggies welcome the Londoners to The Hawthorns this evening in front of the Sky Sports cameras looking for their first win in three games.
Sky Sports pundit Prutton has predicted that it will finish 2-2, with a goal frenzy expected between the two sides.
Writing in his Sky Sports prediction column, Prutton shared that he fancied goals at The Hawthorns as the Baggies got the weekend underway.
“West Brom have just slowed down a little in the last couple of weeks, with three draws in a row and just three goals in their last four games,” he wrote.
“They are still creating chances, but haven’t been converting them. But Valerien Ismael will be confident that the goals will come again if they keep getting into the right areas.
“I fancy goals here and a draw.”
That is the only word that the Baggies need to be thinking about at this moment in time, never mind another draw.
Valerien Ismael has not been happy with the past three results or performances in the Championship, and too many draws can really effect a team.
It may be early in the season, but not turning these scrappy games into three points could be the difference between automatic promotion and the play-offs.
Teams such as Bournemouth are finding ways to win every week without playing their best football, and West Brom really need to take a leaf out of that book.
Starting this evening, three points would be perfect.
