Clarke, Zohore and Tulloch back in full training ahead of West Brom v Cardiff
Matt Clarke, Kenneth Zohore and Rayhaan Tulloch are all back in full training as West Brom prepare to face Cardiff City on Tuesday.
Valerien Ismael confirmed the news via Birmingham Mail during his press conference ahead of the trip to Wales.
The trio will be assessed before the Cardiff game and Friday’s clash with Stoke City, and long-term absentee Dara O’Shea is the only Baggies player currently missing ahead of next month’s international break.
West Brom have won five and drawn four in their opening nine fixtures of the Championship campaign, sitting second in the table after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers on Friday.
It has been a fine start to 2021-22 for Ismael and his men, and having his squad almost at full strength is a huge boost ahead of the double header away from home.
Clarke has not played since he was withdrawn in the first-half of last month’s 2-1 win at Blackburn Rovers, and having the centre-back back is good news.
Zohore was not able to secure an exit away from The Hawthorns in the summer, and he remains a part of the Frenchman’s attacking plans going forward.
He has not been seen since the League Cup loss to Arsenal, but should be back very soon.
Tulloch is not going to be able to force his way into the Baggies starting XI this season, but he is a great option to have on the bench, and the young midfielder needs to be fit for his development to continue.
In other West Brom news, Steve Madeley was baffled by strange thing Baggies ace said ahead of QPR clash.
