Jobi McAnuff thrilled by Karlan Grant for West Brom v Cardiff
West Brom got off to the perfect start against Cardiff City in their Championship clash on Tuesday evening.
Karlan Grant, off the back of his two goals against QPR, smashed home the opener from distance within five minutes to give the Baggies the lead.
Jobi McAnuff was thrilled by the strike this evening and labelled his effort as “fantastic” in the Welsh capital.

Speaking live on Sky Sports, McAnuff sang the praises of the former Huddersfield man who is on fire right now.
“Karlan Grant with a fantastic strike into the bottom corner,” he said.
“It’s their first real attack, they haven’t had to do too much to get into this area. He really just unleashes a shot, fantastic finish into that far corner.”

Brilliant.
This is exactly what we have been wanting to see from Grant ever since he arrived from Huddersfield last year.
It hasn’t been all sunshine and roses so far given that he had been on fire for the Terriers before his move to The Hawthorns.
Everyone had their fingers crossed that the two goals against Queens Park Rangers would spark him into life, and it looks as though they did just that.
This was the strike of a man full of confidence, and he only had one thing in his mind when picking the ball up on the edge of the box.
It flew into the bottom corner like an arrow and we can’t wait to see more of this as the season continues – bring it on.
