Jamie Carragher blown away by West Brom on Sky Sports
Jamie Carragher has been left thrilled by West Brom this season after just one defeat in 12 Championship games so far.
The ex-Liverpool defender was doing the post-match adverts alongside Gary Neville on Monday Night Football [Sky Sports, 18/10/21] when it came to West Brom’s clash with Swansea City this week.
“Wednesday, Swansea v West Brom, I mean what a game that is,” Carragher said. “I mean West Brom are absolutely flying. You’ll be across that, won’t you Gary?”

Has Carragher been paying close attention?
It would be easy to take a quick glance at West Brom results, as well as the Championship table, and come to the same conclusion as Carragher on Sky Sports.
Albion currently reside in the automatic promotion spots, two points clear of big-spenders Fulham, and with a 1-0 defeat to Stoke City the only blot on their copybook.
However, it has not been all plain-sailing at The Hawthorns this season.
Valerien Ismael’s tactics have seen him come under fire from supporters, as well as some pundits in the media.

There have been some hugely disappointing displays under the ex-Barnsley coach, notably at home to Derby County and Millwall, and not everyone is completely enamoured with him.
However, it’s hard to argue with the results thus far, and more of the same is likely to continue to pique the interest of the most prominent pundits on Sky Sports who will be keeping a closer eye as the season progresses, mindful that they may be analysing their games back in the Premier League next season.
