Confirmed West Brom starting XI v Swansea

West Brom have confirmed their starting XI for the Championship clash against Swansea City this evening.

Valerien Ismael has had to deal with injuries in his squad, with Alex Mowatt missing out with this ongoing foot problem.

Confirmed on their official Twitter account prior to kick-off, the Baggies have brought in Jayson Molumby in the only change.

The Baggies travel to South Wales looking for another win to keep hold of current leaders Bournemouth who won again last night.

Mowatt was the big concern before kick-off given how he has been nursing his foot injury since the beginning of the month.

Ismael made it his priority to bring the former Barnsley man along with him from Oakwell, and it has been a match in heaven since.

The last time we were in South Wales last month, Mowatt scored that absolute scorcher at Cardiff, we all remember that.

Vital.

Swansea definitely started the season slowly, but will have more confidence than ever after their antics at the weekend.

In the first Welsh derby of the season, they demolished Cardiff by three goals to nil and that must serve as a warning to the Baggies.

Ismael will know that this won’t be an easy trip, and he will be instilling that into his players from whistle one at the Liberty Stadium.

Staying ahead of Fulham and potentially creating a bigger gap has to be the goal, as long as we are in that top two consistently.

The season is still young, but hitting form and picking up three points at a consistent rate is vital in the Championship.
