West Brom man Karlan Grant blows Colin Murray away
Quest EFL host Colin Murray has been very impressed by West Brom forward Karlan Grant this season.
Speaking on the show’s latest edition, Murray heaped praise on the 24-year-old after he scored his eighth league goal of the season to secure a big win for the Baggies.
After Murray praised Grant, Dean Ashton responded and also lauded the former Huddersfield Town man.
Murray said: “Talking of valuable players scoring really vital goals, that’s Grant this season for West Brom.
“He’s been clutch to use a phrase.”
Ashton then added: “He has, yes and playing off the left as well, which I wouldn’t have said would be his favourite position to play, but it’s working for him.”
Big praise for Grant.
His goal against Hull City was a pretty simple finish, but it was great movement that created the opening as he drifted off the defender’s back to create the space.
He seems to be thriving in that role on the left, and Callum Robinson once again assisted him, and those two seem to have struck up a fine partnership.
The Baggies weren’t at their best, but they dug in and got the win that keeps them within touching distance of the top two.

You have to wonder where West Brom would be if they didn’t have Grant with them this season, as he has scored some massive goals to help the Baggies seal big wins.
Therefore, it is no wonder that both Ashton and Murray have heaped loads of praise onto him and long may this goal run continue.
If he can keep scoring goals at this rate, then maybe West Brom will be able to mount a challenge for automatic promotion.
