West Brom could force Middlesbrough to sack Neil Warnock
West Brom could force Middlesbrough to sack manager Neil Warnock if they win today in the Championship.
The Daily Mail report that a win for Valerien Ismael’s side could spell the end for Warnock after he broke the managerial record earlier this week.
The 72-year-old has been in the game for a long time, but the Baggies could potentially end his managerial career if they can seal what would be a huge win for them.

Extra incentive, perhaps?
In his time as a manager, Warnock has had several run-ins with many Baggies fans, so we can imagine that after reading this, the Hawthorns might be even louder than usual [Birmingham Mail].
Even in his press conference earlier this week, Warnock had a subtle dig at the West Brom supporters [Birmingham Mail].
He said: “I’d rather go somewhere like that, than to a team who haven’t won a game at home.
“They’re a top side, there’ll be a good crowd out. I always get a good reception at West Brom, from the West Brom fans.
“They know I’ll try and spoil the party if I can. I enjoy it when we haven’t got a chance, according to everybody in bookies, and journalists. They’re the games you revel in, and that’s why I’m looking forward to it.”

A win would be very important for the Baggies as they look to keep the pressure on Fulham and Bournemouth at the top.
The Cherries slipped up in midweek, so another win could put Scott Parker’s men under even more pressure.
So, this is a massive match for both sides, and hopefully, it will be a bit more entertaining than the Hull City game in midweek.
However, the Baggies do have injury problems, so you would think their fans will just be happy with the three points that should end Warnock’s time at Middlesbrough.
In other West Brom news, Kevin Phillips has revealed what he wants to see from the Baggies today.
