West Brom Super Fans react to Rhys Healey rumours

This is part of a regular series from our panel of West Brom Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our West Brom News Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around The Hawthorns.

West Brom Super Fans have flocked to a post on the West Brom News page about Toulouse striker Rhys Healey.

TEAMtalk report that the Baggies are one of three English clubs to have watched the striker at the weekend.

The former Cardiff City man has scored 11 goals in Ligue 2, and it appears as if he could be coming back to England.

This post drew a mixed reaction from our Super Fans, with some not convinced by Healey and others convinced the club won’t spend any money.

Is Healey the man the Baggies need?

The Baggies need a striker, the goals have dried up, and at this point, they should be willing to try anyone.

Healey could be that man.

The 26-year-old has played in England before and has made ten Championship appearances.

Now, in those appearances, he only scored one goal, but he has clearly improved as a player, and a move to the Hawthorns could be a good move for him and Albion.

Of course, West Brom would need to come up with the cash, and that is where many of our Super Fans can see the deal falling through.

You would hope that if Valerien Ismael wants him, the board will back him and allow him to bring in Healey, but we will have to wait and see if that actually happens.

Certainly, some of our Super Fans aren’t convinced, and in the end, they could prove to be correct, but either way, the Baggies need a striker.

In other West Brom news, Valerien Ismael refused to answer a question about Robert Snodgrass.
