West Brom Super Fans react as senior player set for January exit

This is part of a regular series from our panel of West Brom Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our West Brom News Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around The Hawthorns.

West Brom Super Fans have flocked to a post on the West Brom News Facebook page about Robert Snodgrass.

Alan Nixon claims that the 34-year-old is set for a January departure from the Hawthorns and has been sidelined by Valerien Ismael.

The Frenchman reacted angrily when asked about the Scotsman’s absence, and now it appears as if he will be leaving.

This has drawn the attention of our Super Fans, who have had their say.

Snodgrass to leave.

If Nixon is right, which he usually is, it appears as if the former Leeds United and West Ham man is not in Ismael’s plans.

Now, given that he is ageing and his legs have most definitely gone, you could say this was a sensible decision.

However, Snodgrass still has a quality left-foot and played a lot of Premier League and Championship games.

He still has the quality to play in the Championship, and his experience could come in handy as the season progresses.

However, for whatever reason, it looks like Ismael isn’t a fan and Snodgrass’ time at the Hawthorns looks to be coming to an end.

This has clearly annoyed our Super Fans, who feel as if he could still do a job for the Baggies, and you can totally see their point.

However, it appears as if the manager can’t see their point of view at all, which is a shame.

In other West Brom news, Chris Lepkowski has made a worrying claim on Ismael’s future.
