West Brom Super Fans react to the latest on Jordan Hugill

This is part of a regular series from our panel of West Brom Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our West Brom News Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around The Hawthorns

West Brom Super Fans have flocked to a post on the West Brom News Facebook page about Jordan Hugill.

According to the Sun [05 December], Norwich City are prepared to take the striker back to Carrow Road in January.

The former Middlesbrough forward has scored just one league goal in 17 appearances, and it is no surprise to see that the Canaries are willing to recall him.

Our Super Fans are not his biggest fans, and they are clearly delighted with this news.

Hugill is just not good enough.

The 29-year-old has worked very hard in the games that he has played, but he either doesn’t suit Valerien Ismael’s style of play, or he just isn’t good enough, unfortunately.

He came off the bench on Saturday, ran himself into the ground, and nearly set up a goal, but as a goalscoring threat, he was non-existent.

The worst moment of his time at the Hawthorns so far was his miss against Nottingham Forest in the dying moments.

It was a huge chance, and he blew it totally, and in the end, it cost the Baggies what could have been three crucial points.

There have been other big moments as well, and ultimately, one goal for a striker in a team chasing promotion isn’t good enough.

Therefore, we aren’t surprised to see so many of our Super Fans pleased about this news, and it is just a transfer that hasn’t worked out for either party, really.

In other West Brom news, Keith Hackett has had his say on one incident during the Coventry game.
