Police question 14-year-old over allegedly abusing West Brom ace Callum Robinson
West Brom forward Callum Robinson was sent monkey emojis after the Baggies beat Chelsea 5-2 in the Premier League in April.
Sky Sports have stated that a 14-year-old boy living in London has been questioned by the police investigating online abuse about the incident.
As part of their ongoing investigation, it is claimed that they spoke to him in November, and that three other boys aged 12, 13 and 14, are due to appear before a Youth Panel for allegedly abusing the Republic of Ireland international.

Kick it out
The game is meant to be supportive and inclusive for all, and such acts have no place anywhere.
Players are already subject to so much abuse from the stands and getting more of it on social media could be devastating for them.
It’s good to see the police taking charge to ensure that the perpetrators are punished as this is the sort of thing that should not be happening.
All Robinson did was put in a fantastic performance and score two goals against one of the best teams in the country.

The Baggies have stood by the Republic of Ireland player from the start and will continue to do so in their fight for justice and eradicating racism from the game.
Hopefully, this sets a precedent for others thinking of doing such things, and makes the game a happier place for everyone.
