West Brom confirm starting XI v Reading
West Brom have confirmed their starting XI for their game against Reading today in the Championship.
Valerien Ismael has made four changes from the side that beat Coventry City 2-1 as the Baggies look to extend their unbeaten home record.
Sam Johnstone starts in goal.
In front of him, there is a back three consisting of Jake Livermore, Kyle Bartley and Darnell Furlong.
Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Adam Reach fill in as the wing-backs.
Now, the centre of midfield was always going to be the main decision for Ismael, with both Jake Livermore and Jayson Molumby back from suspension.
So, he has decided to bring Molumby back into the starting XI to partner Alex Mowatt.
Then Karlan Grant and Callum Robinson play as the wide forwards with Jordan Hugill down the middle.
Strong team.
The big problem for Ismael was always going to be Mowattโs partner for this game, but despite Taylor Gardner-Hickman playing there last week, the Frenchman has gone for the more experienced Livermore.
Rhys Cleary takes his place on the bench alongside a few other younger players.
You would think that Cleary could have an impact on the game at some point.

If the Baggies are winning and Ismael wants to sure everything up at the back, he has the likes of Ethan Ingram to call upon.
Therefore, this is a very strong side picked by Ismael despite the issues with Covid.
The problems are reflected in the options on the bench, but there is still more than enough there for the Frenchman to call upon.
It will be intriguing to see how this game goes, but we would be confident of Albion securing another three points at home this afternoon.
