Lee Hendrie takes aim at Darnell Furlong live on Sky Sports in West Brom clash v Barnsley
West Brom missed plenty of chances on Friday evening to make their trip to Barnsley a frustrating one in the Championship.
The Baggies weren’t forced to defend too much, releasing Darnell Furlong and Conor Townsend to attack at will at Oakwell.
Lee Hendrie was not pleased with Furlong, though, who wasted numerous opportunities to put dangerous balls into the box.

Speaking live on Sky Sports Main Event, Hendrie was not impressed with the quality of service delivered down the right.
“Disappointing,” he said. “There were bodies in the box.
“It was all about the delivery, look at the bodies, their arms were waving as they knew it was a good chance.”

Need better?
The end product was simply shocking at times this evening.
On a good evening, the Baggies would have been out of sight on the half-time whistle, but they simply weren’t good enough in the final third.
It has been the story of our entire season, and if we put away our chances, we would probably be sitting comfortably in the top two of the Championship.
Furlong has to play his part, and as a wing-back, most of the play will come through him or Townsend as they bomb down the flanks.
There were far too many occasions where he had plenty of time but overhit the cross, and that has to be better as the season goes on.
