Okay Yokuslu keen on West Brom move in January

Former West Brom loanee Okay Yokuslu is keen on making a Hawthorns return, according to Spanish media outlet La Voz De Galicia.

Sam Allardyce was the one who brought him to the club on loan and it is understood that Valerien Ismael is also keen on having the Turkey international playing for his team.

Despite getting relegated, the Celta Vigo midfielder enjoyed his time at the club and is open to a reunion with his former teammates.

Worth considering

The 27-year-old was one of the most consistent players since he arrived at the Hawthorns last season.

Midfield appeared to be a major issue prior to his arrival, but he slotted in perfectly and took the Premier League by storm.

He was versatile and followed his manager’s instructions to the T and already built a good rapport with the other players inside the dressing room.

Kyle Bartley was one of the first Baggies players to wax his lyrical back in February 2021.

He told West Brom’s official website, “He’s been brilliant. He seems to have settled in really quickly which is always important for a player at a new club. You can see already that he’s a really good player.

“He’s tenacious. He’s good on the ball. He’s calm and composed. I think he’s made a big difference in there.”

Hopefully, the club take this as a signal of intent and make a move for him in the January window.
