Valerien Ismael would love to sign two strikers in January – report
Valerien Ismael would love for West Brom to sign two strikers in the upcoming January transfer window.
That’s according to The Athletic journalist Steve Madeley, who admitted it would be easier said than done at The Hawthorns.
On top of that, showing both Kenneth Zohore and Jordan Hugill the exit door during the month would also be a priority.

Writing in his Transfer Mailbag for The Athletic, Madeley shared the state of play on outgoings ahead of the window.
“I’m sure, in an ideal world, Ismael would love to bring in a couple of strikers and offload Kenneth Zohore, who is clearly out of the picture, and Jordan Hugill, whose loan move hasn’t worked out,” he wrote.
“But that is easier said than done, especially as Zohore is currently injured and Hugill leaving halfway through his loan would have to suit Norwich.”

Go all out.
Forgetting about how an extra man in midfield could help, the final third is desperate for reinforcements at The Hawthorns.
Zohore is likely on big money and currently injured so getting rid of him would free up space to bring in another big name.
Hugill had yet another shocker against Barnsley last week and continues to prove that he isn’t good enough for the Baggies, so keeping him around would make no sense – sending him back to Norwich looks ideal.
Daryl Dike and Cauley Woodrow have both been mentioned, and given both have played together along with Alex Mowatt, that could be smart business.
Both know how Ismael works, and the Frenchman will know how to get the best out of them too – this could be a really smart move.
We already can’t wait to see what happens next month.
