David Prutton predicts West Brom clash against Derby County
David Prutton has backed West Brom to beat Derby County in their Championship showdown on Boxing Day.
The Sky Sports pundit has predicted that it will finish 1-0 to the Baggies as they look to bounce back.
Valerien Ismael would not have been happy on Friday, watching his side leave Barnsley with only a goalless draw after dominating.

Writing in his Sky Sports prediction column, Prutton was not impressed with what he saw at Oakwell.
“Derby, like a lot of teams in the Championship, haven’t played in a couple of weeks,” he wrote. “It may have given Wayne Rooney a chance to get some legs fresh because he has so little to operate with.
“West Brom will feel they missed a real chance to heap the pressure on the top two as they drew at Barnsley last time out.
“This is another opportunity with so many postponements, and one they need to take advantage of. I think they’ll edge it.”

Must win.
Things are really starting to heat up in the Championship race for automatic promotion this season.
Bournemouth and Fulham are starting to really feel the pressure and are dropping points every single week, but unfortunately, we didn’t take advantage of that.
Blackburn have taken third spot too with their form going through the roof, with four clubs now pushing for the top two spots.
The Baggies need to put in a huge statement performance this week and send a real warning to the rest of the league.
Derby haven’t played in quite some time so could be fresher, but that is no advantage and we need to get the job done, however.
