John Percy: West Brom in talks for loan move with option to buy for Daryl Dike
West Brom are locked in talks with Orlando City for the loan signing of Daryl Dike in the January window.
That’s according to John Percy, who has reported that there would be a permanent option included in the deal.
Valerien Ismael is hoping for a reunion with the American international after working together at Barnsley last season.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Percy shared the latest on the ongoing pursuit of the American talisman.
“West Brom in talks with Orlando City to sign striker Daryl Dike on loan for the season from January, with a view to a permanent deal,” he wrote.
“Negotiations continuing but Ismaël hopeful of bringing him in, after Dike impressed at Barnsley.”
Here we go.
This one is really starting to gather pace now.
Negotiations are continuing, but for Ismael to have hope of it being completed, he must have been given some promises behind the scenes.
Dike smashed home nine goals in the second half of last season at Oakwell, and that is exactly the kind of boost we are desperate for at The Hawthorns.
Jordan Hugill has been nothing short of shocking in the final third, with his finishing letting us down once again in the 0-0 draw against none other than Barnsley last week.
We are desperate for goals, and Dike will give us just that if the Albion come up with what is required for his signature – time to get it done.
