Daryl Dike’s signing to spark Jordan Hugill loan cancellation at West Brom
Following an update of Daryl Dike’s scheduled medical to join West Brom, Jordan Hugill is surely set to return to Norwich City after a poor loan spell.
Dike’s imminent arrival at West Brom was reported by The Telegraph’s John Percy on Twitter on Saturday, who says that the Orlando City striker will attend Albion’s clash with Cardiff on Sunday.
The move had been on the cards for a while and will certainly make the Hawthorns faithful excited ahead of what is set to be a dramatic latter half to the season.

Excitement
Dike performed superbly during a short loan spell with Championship rivals Barnsley during the second half of last season. The American forward netted nine goals in 19 league games for the Yorkshire side before returning to play for parent club Orlando City.
West Brom fans saw him first-hand play Championship football and will be champing at the bit to see him pull on a Baggies jersey for the first time.
Hugill cancellation
This move for Dike will surely spell the end for Hugill. The Norwich loanee has performed poorly for the club and I think he will be set for a quick return to the Canaries this January.
Sun journalist Alan Nixon reported on 5 December that a return to Norwich could be on the cards in January.
Dike adds another dimension up top for the Baggies who are in need of a few more goals at current. The form of Hugill, who is a seasoned second-tier striker, simply wasn’t up to scratch in a West Brom shirt.
Pulses racing
The Orlando City man could join permanently after this initial loan move which would be a great pickup for West Brom whether they are playing EFL or Premier League football next season.
The club need all the attacking talent they can get their hands on as they continue to push for promotion in a tight and competitive top six.
In other West Brom news, a QPR star has been ruled out of the Baggies’ match taking place later this month.
