Jordan Hugill could leave West Brom amid two Championship clubs interest
Jordan Hugill could be set to leave West Brom amid Championship interest for the striker, according to Nick Mashiter.
Millwall and Hull City are monitoring the 29-year-old and could cut his spell at the Hawthorns short.
Hugill is completely out of favour at the Baggies with only one goal all season as well as the signing of Daryl Dike.
Writing on his personal Twitter he said: “Millwall and Hull are keen on Jordan Hugill.
“Could offer him a way out of frustrating loan spell at West Brom. Nothing guaranteed but Norwich striker could be on the move again.”
Baggies fans don’t care where Hugill goes, as long as he goes.
Valerien Ismael has made it clear he only wants active members of the squad to be at the club for the remainder of the season as Albion and as it stands the Norwich striker is in the way.
His position at the club has been made clear in the past few weeks in conjunction with the arrival of Dike. He was left out of the Baggies last matchday squad which would have rubbed salt in the wounds of the striker.
He has given his all for Albion during his short spell at the club, but the truth is he just isn’t good enough.
His form in the Championship this season should have been enough to put all teams off the striker but maybe Millwall and Hull know something West Brom and all of Hugill’s previous clubs didn’t.
Hugill leaving early would be nothing but positive for West Brom.
