View: Three changes, one debut - West Brom predicted XI vs Peterborough
West Brom are expected to make three changes to their starting lineup as they aim to get back to winning ways in the Championship against Peterborough.
The Baggies have won just two of their last 11 games in all competitions and are winless in their last four in the Championship, which has seen them drop down to fifth in the table.
Valerien Ismael is under pressure to get results and fast after the poor run and there is no better time than when they take on relegation strugglers Peterborough at the Hawthorns on Saturday.
In goal David Button will continue to deputise for Sam Johnstone, who serves the final leg of his three-game ban for a red card against Cardiff at the start of the month.
Cedric Kipre is available again after his ban for a red card against Brighton in the FA Cup and should start as one of the three centre-backs. Matthew Clarke should keep his place, while Kyle Bartley should return to the team after a knock ruled him out against QPR.
At wing-back Conor Townsend and Darnell Furlong should both move back to their preferred wide roles after filling in as centre-backs last time out.
In midfield Alex Mowatt is still suspended too, so Jake Livermore and Jayson Molumby will continue to hold the fort in the heart of the pitch as Ismael opts for a blend of experience and youth.
Karlan Grant has been West Brom’s most prolific forward this season with nine goals and four assists and should therefore keep his place on the left of the front three, while Callum Robinson has performed admirably from the right.
After signing in January and featuring for 31 minutes in as a substitute against QPR last week, Daryl Dike should get the nod from the start for his full debut and he will lead the line to help solve Albion’s goalscoring problems.
Here is how we expect West Brom to line up against Peterborough:
Button; Kipre, Bartley, Clarke; Furlong, Livermore, Molumby, Townsend; Robinson, Dike, Grant.
