West Brom want to sign Rangers defender Connor Goldson – report
West Brom want to sign Rangers defender Connor Goldson in the upcoming summer, according to The Sun.
The newspaper has reported o their website that the Baggies can open pre-contract talks now with the enforcer currently in the final months of his deal at Ibrox.
Goldson looks destined to leave Ibrox in the summer, with Nottingham Forest also said to be offering stiff competition.

Goldson is said to be “almost certain” to be quitting Rangers in the summer, with a move down south now on the cards.
The 29-year-old is available for talks immediately with West Brom said to be one of the strongest suitors at this stage.
Rangers are said to be relaxed about the situation, though, with a permanent move this month said to be off the cards.

Invincible.
Goldson has been incredible for Rangers over the past few years.
The 29-year-old was ever-present for the Bears as they won the Scottish Premiership last season as Invincibles, going unbeaten for the whole campaign.
Steven Gerrard was even said to be interested in bringing Goldson to the Premier League, meaning this could be a real coup if we can get this one over the line.
With Matt Clarke, not a permanent player of ours and Cedric Kipre not hitting the high notes consistently, this could be the perfect move.
Goldson would be a star at the heart of The Hawthorns defence, and it is time for Valerien Ismael to go all out early to get this one over the line.
