West Brom send message to Kidderminster after crushing West Ham loss in FA Cup

West Brom have delivered a message to Kidderminster after their crushing FA Cup defeat against West Ham on Saturday.

The National League North side were winning until a 90th minute Declan Rice goal took it to extra time at Aggborough.

After that, Jarrod Bowen scored the winner with the final kick of the game in heartbreaking scenes at the depth.

Writing on their official Twitter account, Kidderminster delivered a message sharing how proud they were.

“Absolutely heartbreaking,” they wrote. “But these boys, they’re so special. Moments from history, they’ll all forever be legends here.”

West Brom responded to that on their own official account and were clearly impressed by what they saw.

“Hold your heads high,” they wrote. “Kiddy are massive.”

Gutting.

With no football on for the Baggies, we were all likely watching this one along in a stunning advert for English football.

The Albion themselves were knocked out in extra time of the previous round against Brighton, but this one was easily worst than that.

Steve Bruce will likely have been drilling his players while this one was on, with all eyes on the Sheffield United game on Wednesday.

If our players can show the heart that Kidderminster today, we will be back on the horse immediately after the sacking of Valerien Ismael.

Passion and determination has to come back at The Hawthorns, and hopefully, we can see some of that next week – bring it on.

In other West Brom news, an ex-Albion midfielder instantly reacted to the news of Ismael’s dismissal on Wednesday.
