David Prutton predicts West Brom clash v Swansea City

David Prutton has backed West Brom to draw against Swansea City in the Championship on Monday evening.

The Sky Sports pundit has predicted that it will finish 1-1 at The Hawthorns, ending a run of awful losses for the Baggies.

Steve Bruce will be desperate for all three points with the play-offs quickly running ahead in the distance for now.

Writing in his Sky Sports predictions column, Prutton still can’t believe his eyes at what he has been seeing at The Hawthorns.

“What a mess West Brom find themselves in,” he said. “They finally scored under Steve Bruce in midweek, but even then they threw away the lead to lose at Middlesbrough. It’s already starting to look like the play-offs might be beyond them.

“Swansea have had a bit of a breather after seeing their midweek game called off and will fancy their chances against a Baggies side low on confidence. I reckon they’ll snag at least a draw.”

Get it done.

It is now or never for the Baggies, who have been nothing short of embarrassing over the past few months.

We can’t remember the last time we saw a convincing performance over an entire 90 minutes from The Albion.

They simply aren’t deserving of the fans at this moment in time, and they all need to take a good, long look at themselves in the mirror.

Swansea had a rest in midweek, and they will be confident of coming to the midlands and leaving with all three points – that fear has simply gone.

That should never be the case, and it is up to the lads to prove to everyone else that they haven’t disappeared this season, and still need to be taken seriously.
