Huddersfield fans mocked West Brom forward Karlan Grant in 2-2 draw
Huddersfield fans mocked their former player Karlan Grant in the 2-2 draw against West Brom on Friday night (March 11).
The visitors told him that he’s not as good as Danny Ward – who became the club’s number one striker after Grant departed.
This was before the Baggies mounted an unlikely comeback with Grant scoring the opener for the visitors.
Via his personal Twitter account, Yorkshire Post journalist Stuart Rayner wrote, “Karlan Grant being repeatedly told by the away fans he’s not a very good Danny Ward. (Paraphrasing as it’s before the watershed.) Ward has the only goal as #HTAFC lead 1-0.”
Karma?
Huddersfield fans gave him a hostile reception only for him to kick-start the Baggies’ comeback.
The hosts looked down and out with the last 20 minutes to go and the fans appeared to have accepted defeat.
However, Grant’s penalty saw them reduce the deficit to one goal and then Andy Carroll played the role of super sub to make it 2-2.

An incredible turn of events and one nobody would’ve seen coming on the night.
This was only one point but it certainly would’ve felt like three for Steve Bruce and his men.
The Baggies moved into 12th but are still seven points off the top six and will need to go on a real run to make promotion a possibility this season.
