Daryl Burgess delivers verdict on West Brom performance in 1-0 win v Fulham
By Jake Tomkinson
Former West Brom star Daryl Burgess has nothing but positives to say after Tuesday night’s victory over Championship leaders Fulham.
Callum Robinson scored the only goal of the game midway through the second half, in a game that the Baggies dominated from the get-go.
Marek Rodak had a fantastic game in goal for the visitors, denying Karlan Grant and Robinson early on, as West Brom stunned the runaway leaders.

Burgess, who made over 300 appearances for the Baggies spanning over 12 years from 1989 to 2001, is confident that the side can use this victory as a stepping stone to rekindle their early season form.
Burgess tweeted last night: “Best performance of the season by far tonight!
“Now is a good time to have a run of top results.
“Time to make it count.”
Huge Win
Some results can often result in the change of fortunes at a club, and this win tonight over Fulham could well lead to a late-season flurry from the Baggies, as they aim for a playoff place.
Fulham have been the league’s most dominant side all season, however, this wasn’t the case at the Hawthorns, where the free-scoring visitors were reduced to just one shot on target all game.
With seven points collected from the last three games, the Albion have put an end to their torrid form, and look to mount a late-season playoff push, with the side six points off sixth place.
With a trip to struggling Bristol City on the horizon, a win is a must if the club want to be considered serious challengers for a playoff place again.
