Kenneth Zohore will leave West Brom in 2023, could happen sooner – report

Kenneth Zohore will certainly leave West Brom in 2023 once his contract expires, according to Joseph Chapman.

The reliable journalist even insisted that it could happen sooner, with offers likely to be entertained in the summer.

The Dane is currently nursing yet another injury, but Steve Bruce has shared no real hope beyond that for Zohore.

Writing in his latest piece for the Birmingham Mail, Champman shared that it could even happen sooner.

“Kenneth Zohore will leave in 2023, if not sooner, while Kean Bryan, Alex Palmer, Quevin Castro, Saul Shotton and a host of academy players like Rico Richards and Zac Ashworth all have a little more than a year remaining on their respective contracts,” he wrote.

Good riddance.

This is long overdue.

Zohore’s move to The Hawthorns never worked out for all parties involved, with the club and the player surely not happy.

The Danish talisman has never strung together consistent starts, which has led to a poor goal record in the same amount of time.

It has been very clear that the Baggies have needed to clear some deadwood in this squad for years now, and this summer may finally bring that time.

Bruce, or whoever is in charge, will want to build his squad around the likes of Daryl Dike and Karlan Grant, with new signings surely expected.

With Sam Johnstone also expected to leave soon, there will be some big, experienced names going through the exit doors.

This could be the start of a new era at The Hawthorns, and we’re quite certain that everyone will welcome it – bring it on.
