Chris Lepkowski thrilled by West Brom striker Andy Carroll display
West Brom striker Andy Carroll has produced a brilliant performance against Bournemouth in the Championship at the Hawthorns on Wednesday.
Chris Lepkowski was so impressed by the former Liverpool striker that he suggested that he would happily give him a new deal at the club.
Carroll scored the second goal for the Baggies before the break after Alex Mowatt opened the scoring.

Lepkowski wrote on Twitter: “This is the Andy Carroll I’d happily give a contract to next season.”
Superb performance
The performance against Bournemouth in the first half exactly reflects West Brom’s season in a nutshell.
At times, they can be devastating, especially at home, but they lack consistency over the entire campaign.
Carroll, who was one of the two changes made by Bruce for this game after the defeat to Birmingham, produced a virtuoso display.
The 33-year-old has lost his sharpness and agility, but he doesn’t fail to remind us what a brilliant player he is when is fit and on a song.

This was a typical Carroll-goal, an school type, where the striker held off Adam Smith and fired past Mark Travers from the corner of the six-yard box.
After that goal, his confidence level peaked up, and Bournemouth’s defence really struggled to handle the veteran striker.
It’s a vintage Carroll performance, and fans will hope there’s more to come from him.
In other West Brom news, Bruce has plans to take four injured stars overseas during pre-season to get them back fit for the following campaign.
