West Brom could let Kean Bryan and Cedric Kipre go in summer transfer exodus – Steve Madeley
Steve Madeley has shared that West Brom may be looking to move on some of their central defenders this summer.
The Athletic journalist namedropped Kean Bryan and Cedric Kipre as two who are likely to be shipped away from The Hawthorns.
Steve Bruce played four at the back against Reading, and admitted that he could use that more going forward.

Writing in his latest column for The Athletic, Madeley shared the latest on potential outgoings at The Hawthorns.
“Kipre, who has played just 12 minutes since Bruce’s arrival, appears the most vulnerable centre-back,” he wrote.
“He has two years remaining on his contract but has already been loaned out once by Albion to Belgian side Charleroi and seems likely to be made available again.
“Bryan also looks to be an odd man out, having been signed by Ismael specifically to play on the left of a back three. But he could only be loaned out if he recovers quickly enough from an anterior cruciate ligament injury to prove his fitness in pre-season.”

Good riddance.
There certainly has to be a big clearout at The Hawthorns this summer, and it has to start at the back.
Kipre and Bryan are deadwood at this stage, with both playing little to no part this season under Valerien Ismael and Bruce.
The Baggies have to be ruthless for the first time in years, rather than just consistently adding the same type of player to the squad.
Even if they are loan deals, it runs down another year on their contracts and then they can move on permanently when the time is right.
Ron Gourlay needs to give Bruce what he wants in terms of incomings, but outgoings as well given the state of this squad.
The sooner these exits are potentially sorted, the sooner we can be on the lookout for some new incomings.
Everyone has to be on the same page, and it would be no surprise to see these types of players shown the back door.
