Robert Snodgrass congratulates West Brom youngsters after footage from Premier League Cup final emerges

Robert Snodgrass has congratulated the West Brom Under-23s for beating Wolves in the Premier League Cup on Friday.

After 120 minutes, nothing could separate the two sides as the score was level at 2-2.

However, in the penalty shootout, the Baggies youngsters held their nerve to beat their rivals.

Via his personal Twitter account, Snodgrass reacted to footage after the game, “Yes young team congrats to you and well done Beales, Deon and big Boas.”

Snodgrass is no longer on the books at Hawthorns and in fact is in the playoffs.

Luton are looking to make a rare push for the Premier League and the former Baggies midfielder is part of that team.

However, the fact that he took time out to congratulate the youngsters, would absolutely mean the world to them.

Many of them would’ve idolised him while he was at the club and this tweet might have made their day.

Even West Brom fans are pretty fond of Snodgrass for all the moments over the course of his Hawthorns journey.

We’re positive that he will be back at the club in some shape in the coming years as it’s a place he holds extremely close to his heart and the fans would love to see him back.
